Managing my academic studies alongside my WordPress course was not easy. At first, I thought I would just “find time” somewhere in the day. But very quickly, I realized time doesn’t just appear. You have to create it.

I started by being honest with myself. My studies come first. So instead of sacrificing study time, I adjusted my routine. I divided my day into clear blocks. Classes and academic reading during the main part of the day. WordPress learning at night, when everything is quiet and distractions are low.

Some days were exhausting. After finishing assignments, the last thing I wanted was to open my laptop again. But I made a simple rule: even on busy days, I would spend at least 30 to 45 minutes learning something small. Watching one lesson. Testing one feature. Reading one documentation page. Small progress, but consistent.

Weekends became my deep learning time. I used those days to practice building, customizing, and experimenting without pressure. Instead of scrolling on my phone, I tried to build something simple. A layout. A function tweak. A small test site.

I also stopped chasing perfection. I focused on progress. Some days were productive. Some days were slow. But I kept moving.

What helped me the most was clarity. I knew why I was learning WordPress. I wasn’t doing it randomly. I had a goal. That goal made it easier to stay disciplined.

Balancing studies and a course is not about having extra time. It’s about managing energy, setting priorities, and staying consistent. Slowly, day by day, it becomes part of your lifestyle.
